The short version

Pleav does not collect your data. Everything you enter stays on your device and, if you're signed into iCloud, in your personal iCloud account. We run no servers, require no sign-up, show no ads, and include no analytics or tracking of any kind.

What Pleav stores, and where

• On your device. Your plan — names, due date, leave allowances, and the blocks on your timeline — is stored locally on your iPhone or iPad.
• In your private iCloud (optional). If your device is signed into iCloud, Pleav syncs your plan through Apple's CloudKit to your private iCloud database so it appears on your other devices. This data is readable only by you via your Apple ID. We (the developer) have no ability to access, read, or share it. If you're not signed into iCloud, Pleav works fully on-device and the footer reads "On this device."

What Pleav does not do

• No accounts, sign-ups, or passwords.
• No analytics, telemetry, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
• No third-party services — the app talks only to Apple's iCloud, and only for your own sync.
• No sale or sharing of personal information, because we never receive any.

Sharing plans

You can export a plan as a .leaveplan file using the Share button. That file is created on your device and goes only where you send it (Messages, Mail, Files, etc.). Sharing is entirely user-initiated; nothing is uploaded to us.

Crash reports

If you've opted in to Apple's "Share with App Developers" analytics (an iOS system setting), Apple may provide us anonymized crash reports through App Store Connect. These contain no plan content or personal identifiers.

Deleting your data

Delete the app to remove all local data. To remove synced data from iCloud, go to Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage and delete Pleav's data, or disable Pleav under iCloud before deleting the app.

Children

Pleav is a planning tool for expecting parents and is not directed at children.

Changes

If Pleav's data practices ever change, this page and the app's App Store privacy details will be updated before the change takes effect.
